Gaie Houston is a playwright and psychotherapist who first studied group behaviour with National Training Laboratories in the United States.
Gaie is on the editorial boards of The Gestalt Review, USA; The British Gestalt Journal; and Self and Society, Journal of Humanistic Psychology. She is Chair of Gestalt Publications Ltd.

She has worked as a consultant in many organisations, as well as teaching Gestalt, unconscious group process, and other group topics.
She is now Emeritus Adviser to the Gestalt Centre, London, with whom she has worked over the last twenty-five years, and a visiting lecturer in various countries overseas.
